An effective engineering strategy is not just about technology choices or is not what you are trying to do, but processes, organisation design, and cultural elements.
As a leader of the organisation, you must understand the problem the business is trying to solve, and the pain points, and develop a coherent approach to overcoming them. But that’s not it, you also need to make sure people are following it.
