We are the BFF team; building a Backend-for-Frontend to serve as the bridge between clients, the existing backend platform and various upcoming services. Our day-to-day life is focused on understanding client needs, discovering backend capabilities, and coming up with ways to provide the functionality in an agile manner.

About the role:

As a software engineer in this team, you will:

• Work on the BFF (Backend for Frontend) project to extend the feature set provided to clients

• Enable backend teams to reshape the architecture to support business growth

• Keep yourself updated with fellow developers’ work to understand the business requirements

• Work in close collaboration with Ops teams, retaining knowledge of the front line

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum five years’ experience in web application development, preferably with Python

• A healthy mixture of experience with OO & functional programming

• Experience with git or similar DVCS

• Experience working and developing API's and documenting it.

• Experience with web application infrastructure is a big plus (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, AWS tools, monitoring components like Prometheus/Grafana)

• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes is a big plus
