Many companies reveal their true priorities when times are tough. Have you noticed? When faced with adversity, organizations often shift focus, sometimes at the expense of core values like diversity. As an immigrant, a working mom, and a Diversity and Inclusion volunteer, I’ve seen firsthand how leadership can either uphold or neglect these values during challenging times.

This talk will explore how leaders can continue to champion diversity, even when the company’s priorities change. Leaders have the power to drive change, and during uncertain times, their role is crucial.

Attendees will gain hands-on experience in navigating challenges like limited resources and shifting priorities, all while remaining committed to diversity and inclusion. It’s not just about surviving change – it’s about thriving through creativity, transparency, and resilience. A key takeaway will be the importance of transparency – how to explain the situation to teams, ensure understanding, and keep them aligned with diversity goals despite setbacks.

This talk will empower leaders to stay true to their principles, promote inclusivity, and lead with confidence, even amid uncertainty.
