In her current role as Senior Engineering Director at Etsy, she leads several product engineering teams, directing engineering initiatives that impact over 2 million creative entrepreneurs and 36 million active buyers.
Rachana is driven by the intersection of technology, social impact and helping everyone do their best work. Her passion is technical product development – building and leading diverse product and engineering teams to solve hard problems, drive business impact and have fun doing so. Her experience spans multiple countries and industries ranging from media and ecommerce in the US, the sociopolitical space in India, and international development in Cambodia.
