So often “culture fit” is a phrase tossed around when we’re pattern-matching for people like ourselves or leaning into our biases. And yet, we really do want to find employees who will thrive in our team environments and embody the values unique to our company. Emily will share lessons learned from four years of evolving hiring practices at Honeycomb, including how we incorporate company values into our hiring process, that time we experimented with letting candidates design their own interview and more unconventional ways we’ve explored culture during hiring with sometimes good and sometimes disastrous results.
