Stefan Smith

Stefan is a Principal Engineer at Gousto where he helps a rapidly-growing org scale its architecture and engineering practices. He sees individuals, teams and software as a single system and strives to enable rapid, sustainable delivery through fast feedback, decentralised decision-making and a focus on outcomes. Spending his formative years at ThoughtWorks, Stefan became an advocate for Lean thinking, XP and Continuous Delivery. He’s passionate about Serverless technologies and has worked as a Solutions Architect at AWS. He’s spent almost a decade as a technical lead, guiding teams across a range of industries, in startups and global enterprises.
