Goal setting is an important aspect of tracking and measuring tasks, accomplishments and success. It strikes a balance between the expectations of managers and their team with what is delivered. 

Setting vague goals or having no goals at all can lead to misunderstandings and end objectives not being achieved. You can counter this by having goals that are clear, detailed and easily understood by all parties. Following up on those goals through 1:1’s, team meeting and async communication are also key to ensuring follow-through, removal of blockers as well as goal completion. 

Julia will walk you through some tips that you can use to create and help your team execute these goals.
