Cheng is an Incident Analyst on the Learning From Incidents (LFI) team at Indeed. Indeed helps people get jobs. The LFI team within SRE helps Indeed learn as much as possible from incidents. Incident analysts interview responders, facilitate group learning reviews, and write incident summaries to help the organization improve reliability. Before joining Indeed in 2012, Cheng developed software for a dozen different tech companies in Austin. He moved to Western North Carolina in 2023 with his wife and two cats where he is adapting to the challenge of bicycling uphill everywhere.
