Nivia is a technologist with over 20 years of engineering and leadership experience.

Her career has spanned nearly every role in tech; but her true passion is inspiring people to do their best work.
These days Nivia plies her trade as a Director of Engineering for Netflix’s Growth Experiences organization; where is leading the product experiences that power Netflix’s acquisition, growth, plans and payments ecosystems.
Prior to that, Nivia spent almost 8 years as an Engineer Director across multiple organizations within Spotify.
Nivia gives back to the tech community by speaking at, chairing and attending tech conferences.
Her hobbies include: mentoring under-represented engineering leaders; reading; traveling; and enjoying life with her husband André, a fellow engineering leader; and their feline overlord Zuko.
