Ian has been in the software development industry for 23 years, with the last 12 in management. That includes a long stint in AWS EC2, and a shorter stint at a quant hedge fund Two Sigma. For the last 4 years he has been at Datadog where he is now SVP Core Engineering, managing about half the engineering org who build the core data and platform systems that allows customers to collaboratively use their system observability data across our many products.
