Allison Malloy is the Director of Engineering for Shopify's Merchandising product area which includes the search & discovery experience, products and pricing, and supporting merchants' selling strategies. Over the course of her 4 years at Shopify, she had led a few different areas: the Inventory Management team and Shopify Fulfillment Network's Delivery Infrastructure team focused on providing 2-day delivery through advanced inventory management and distribution. Prior to joining Shopify, Allison spent many years in the defence and aerospace sector, including leading the engineering effort at SkyDrop (prev. Flirtey), a drone delivery company; working in a variety of leadership and development roles at Kongsberg Geospatial and General Dynamics.
