Matt is Head of Engineering at Monthly, an online learning platform that makes creative fulfillment attainable for everyone. He joined as the founding engineer and has helped scale the team to over 70 people in under two years. He is proud to lead a group of creative technologists who build technology to help people tap into their creativity.

Prior to Monthly, Matt founded the autonomous driving research group at Brown University and worked as a machine learning scientist at Tesla Autopilot, where he built hardware-optimized neural networks for self-driving cars.

Matt is a passionate lifelong learner — he enjoys cooking, making music, skateboarding, and a well-crafted Manhattan.
