Kiana is Director of Software Development at Shopify where she leads the Channels engineering organization responsible for helping sellers manage their e-commerce business anywhere on the Web. Before joining Shopify Kiana played a number of leadership roles in Software Development and Product Management in startups all the way to large multinational technology companies. She is a strong believer in the power of Missions. With a compelling, clear and meaningful mission, teams can overcome most if not all roadblocks. Kiana is a proud holder of a medal in sprint distance triathlon competition and loves playing outdoors in her hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada.
