John Bristowe is a Principal Developer Advocate at Octopus Deploy, where he leads community engagement and creates educational content for engineering teams. Before Octopus, he spent years in developer relations at Microsoft and Telerik/Progress, building programs for web and .NET developers. He contributes to Octopus open source projects including the CLI, the Terraform provider, and GitHub Actions for deployment workflows. Based on the Gold Coast, Australia, John has been active in the developer community for over two decades.
