Jey is a programmer and engineering leader in Seattle, WA. They care–very deeply–about how computers make us feel and change our relationships. They utilize technology as a medium for human expression, building communities, and solving real-world problems. Making waves as Bandcamp’s first developer relations manager, Jey is also an activist, amateur baker, and fervent record collector. Prior to Bandcamp, Jey’s work includes leading dev teams for companies like Aurora and Uber ATG, organizing tech conferences like Open Source & Feelings and Steel City Ruby, and teaching with programs like Ada Developers Academy and University of Washington Professional & Continuing Education.
