Dan is co-founder and CEO of Range, a software company on a mission to help teams work better together. Previously, as Head of Engineering of Medium, he oversaw platform growth to 60M monthly uniques and 600K stories published per month. And before that, a Staff Software Engineer at Google, he co-created the Closure library and made significant contributions to Google+ and Gmail. He has an MA in Industrial Design from Sheffield University, and a BSc in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Manchester. In past lives Dan raced snowboards, jumped out of planes, and lived in the jungle.
