Coraline Ada Ehmke is an internationally recognized speaker, writer, activist, and software engineer with over 25 years of industry experience.

In 2014 Coraline created the Contributor Covenant, the first and most widely adopted open source code of conduct in the world. She was recognized for her work in diversity and equity in open source with a Ruby Hero award in 2016. In 2018, Coraline addressed the United Nations Forum on Business and Human Rights on the topic of human rights abuses in the tech industry. In 2019 she created the Hippocratic License, founded the Ethical Source Movement, and established the Ethical Source Working Group.
