Bert is a Senior Staff Engineer at Slack, leading the development of Sign in with Slack links, building the foundation for apps and internal integrations, and working with strategic partners to build better experiences for our shared customers. Prior to Slack, he worked as an architect at Flickr modernizing the tech stack and building experimental VR features and wrote code for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign. When he's not building on the Slack Platform, he enjoys traveling, playing board games, and eating tacos.
