Andrew is a staff engineer at Lyft, where he builds products for riders. Prior to Lyft, he was a principal engineer at Carbon Five building products for companies of all sizes, and an engineering manager at Blurb Books. He's spoken at conferences on topics ranging from Domain-Driven Design to machine learning in the Ruby, Elixir and Python communities. He writes online at g9labs.com.

An avid runner, he's found pounding the pavement and trails in the early mornings. He lives with his wife and son in Oakland.
