Alex Karp is an engineering leader with a focus on people-first management and ethical management in a late-stage capitalist society. He is also the author of “Running Start: How to get a job in tech, keep that job, and thrive”. He is currently an engineering manager at Thumbtack, and lives near Boston in the US with his wife, adorable son, and his mischievous cockapoo.
In his spare time, he loves to play the piano, read YA fantasy fiction, and bring back the 1920s by dancing Lindy Hop.
