Who else is attending?
The guests will depend on the topic of the discussion, our community is built up of senior leaders in the tech industry, however, seniority levels will differ per event. Your contact in the LeadDev team can give you more information on this.
How many people will be at the event?
Approximately, we aim for a group of 15 people for roundtable events.
What's the format of the event?
The roundtable is hosted on Zoom, a presentation from our partner company will kick off the discussion, followed by a facilitated group discussion and some smaller breakout conversations.
Will the press be attending the event?
No, there will be no press in attendance, this is a private event and a safe space for discussion. Aside from the guest list, only LeadDev team members and a couple of members from our partner organization will be in the Zoom room.
Will the event be open to the public?
No, this is a private roundtable that is accessible by invite only.
Will the event be shared publicly?
No, a member of the LeadDev team will be observing the session and writing a short article afterward. This will be published as part of the series the event belongs to. The article will be completely anonymous and no names or companies of attendees will be shared at any point.
Will the event be recorded, live-streamed, or further distributed?
The session will be recorded for internal use only, to help note the minutes of the meeting and will not be shared or published. Once the writeup is completed by our in-house writer, we will delete the recording. We take the privacy of our community very seriously.
Will attendees be under NDA?
In usual circumstances, we do not require attendees to sign an NDA agreement. If there is an extenuating circumstance where an NDA is required, this will have been noted on your initial invitation.
Will there be Q&A?
There will be an opportunity towards the end of the session to ask any questions you may have. You can pre-submit them or save them for the session.
Will you be covering any specific topics?
Any topics that will be covered will have been outlined in your invitation, if you’d like more details, your LeadDev contact will be very happy to share additional information.
Will we know who will be joining the table?
We collect attendee profiles prior to the event and share them with the group before the event takes place. If you would rather not share your details before the event, that is totally fine. You also have the opportunity to join a private Slack channel to connect with folks on the table, post-event.
Do I need to do any preparation?
Prior to the event, we will send some advanced learning materials and sometimes, definitions that may be used throughout the discussion by our facilitator. These materials are all voluntary and are not required to be studied prior to the event.
