Sally is a Principal Software Engineer at Splunk where she works on data ingestion for observability. Before Splunk, she spent almost a decade working on operating systems for data storage systems at NetApp. Sally obtained her PhD in Computer Science from Clemson University. She presented her work and research both nationally and internationally.
When not working you will find her doing computer science outreach activities, reviewing for technical conferences, mentoring, and learning Spanish.
