Vadim Uchitel

Vadim Uchitel is a Principal Engineer at Fetch with 30+ years of software development experience. He began his career building geometry and real-time visualization software for NASA and the DoD; his bdStudio tool is still used across multiple NASA labs. After helping scale Shipt’s backend services, he joined Fetch, where he leads cross-team systems architecture, guiding technical strategy and high-stakes platform decisions as the company scales. Vadim focuses on making complex systems simpler, safer, and faster to evolve, recently leveraging AI to accelerate that work. He’s a conference speaker, including DevOpsDays Birmingham (2022, 2023) and upcoming DevOpsDays Atlanta (2026).
