Ellen is currently a Lead Data Engineer at Thoughtworks, where she consults on data architecture, data strategy and data quality. Previously, she was the Head of Data Engineering at mobility scale-up WhereIsMyTransport, where she built the Data Engineering department. She has been working in data engineering, data science and software engineering roles for more than a decade, often as the first data specialist in the company. Beyond that, she enjoys speaking and writing about data topics.
