César is an engineering leader with a background in both engineering management and technical leadership. In his current position at Twitter, César oversees a team of 60+ engineers that develops Twitter for Android, in a role that allows him to pursue both his passions as an architect and as a team leader.
His aspirations as an architect include the design of frameworks that facilitate the development of large-scale applications, striving for improving the developer experience through flexible and simple designs.
As a team leader, he enjoys mentoring engineering leaders, and contributing towards creating a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and support. César grew up in the Madrid area in Spain, and has been based in San Francisco for the past eight years.
