Eliminating hero culture in software engineering teams

When you’re a first-time manager, it’s easy to rely on who you might think of as “highly talented, or hardworking” but this has proven to be extremely inefficient. Hero-based culture lacks the agility for us to grow teams in the right direction and hauliers career growth for most professionals.

In this talk, I will discuss how to grow, scale and lead a team that doesn’t have a “hero culture”.
