Alex Spink

Alex Spink is VP finance at incident.io, the software reliability platform used by engineering teams at Netflix, Etsy, and 2,000+ other companies. He joined in 2023 and leads the company’s finance strategy and operations, working closely with engineering leadership. Much of that work is how R&D spend is planned, measured and reported, from capex/opex classification to R&D tax and budgeting. Previously, Alex led finance and audit at Elastic, Opus2, and Deloitte.
