Dee Kitchen

Dee Kitchen is a VP of Engineering at Grafana Labs. An engineer since 1996 and a people and project leader since 2005, Dee is a deeply technical senior leader who stays hands-on with technical direction while maintaining a strong commitment to developing engineers and engineering managers. Dee focuses on ensuring teams have both the right technology and the right support to successfully deliver on their mission.

Over the past decade, Dee’s technical work has centered on observability, distributed databases, and privacy at Grafana Labs, as well as security products at Cloudflare, including firewalls, denial-of-service protection, traffic matching, and end-user protection. Alongside this work, Dee has led with a strong emphasis on mental health and wellbeing, diversity, and the personal growth of direct reports.
