Jackie Balzer is a Director of Engineering at Spotify, leading teams building the systems and capabilities to help artists launch and build their careers on Spotify.

Previously, she was leading teams building the podcast experience in the Spotify mobile app; and earlier, she was building web apps and leading the frontend team at Behance and Adobe, where their mission was to help creatives showcase their work and get discovered.

Based in NYC, she loves to travel, enjoys exploring and discovering new places, and spends a lot of time thinking about building empathetic engineering practices and processes.
