Luke Briscoe

Luke Briscoe is the Engineering Director for Platform, Security and Data at Monzo Bank. He leads the teams that build and operate the platform serving Monzo’s 15 million customers, the bank’s data platform, their secure-by-design engineering culture and the overall developer experience. Luke’s expertise lies in building distributed systems that are resilient to failure, managing incidents (for when things inevitably go wrong), and creating a developer experience that helps product engineers solve customer problems, not wrangle infrastructure.
