Vanessa is a Staff Production Engineer at the Streaming Foundations team at Shopify. Her Kafka journey started as a data engineer and she then moved closer to the infrastructure. When she’s not improving (or breaking) Kafka’s infrastructure at Shopify, she enjoys reading the comment section of cooking shows on YouTube.
