Joy Sun

Joy is an engineering director at Monzo, running the payment and banking services organisation. In concrete terms this means her teams power 9+ million users daily spending, which is incredibly rewarding. She is an “accidental manager” and still an engineer at heart. Joy enjoys and cherishes every moment she gets to geek out on a deep technical discussion these days. Outside of work, she grows chilli peppers and tries to stop her cats from fighting each other (mostly unsuccessfully).
