Sam is the Head of Engineering in Bloomberg’s Hong Kong office. He has been with the company for more than 6 years, during which time he worked in both London and Hong Kong as a coder, architect and engineering team lead focused on building reliable, low-latency distributed systems for the financial markets.
In his current role, he is responsible for the safety, well-being and productivity of the company’s local engineers. When not busy with crisis management during the protests in Hong Kong and subsequent coronavirus pandemic, he is passionate about creating a culture of quality and innovation.
