Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely, we take our Code of Conduct very seriously. You can read in full here. All conference participants are expected to be respectful towards other attendees, speakers, organizers, and staff, in-person and online. 

You can find reporting and enforcement processes at the link above. For reporting concerns at the event itself, the LeadDev team can be identified by pink t-shirts with ‘Organiser’ printed on the back.

Your safety and that of everyone at the event is of paramount importance and we want everyone to feel safe and secure. Whilst there are no longer general social distancing requirements in place, we do have a dedicated quiet room available, which offers space away from crowds. We also have a badge customisation system where you can let other attendees know your preferred level of social distancing through a traffic light system; red, amber and green.

Registration will open around 8.00 am on November 4 and 8.30 am on November 5, and the first session will start between 9.00 am and 9.30 am. We will confirm the exact timings closer to the conference. 

Yes! A lunch is provided, plus tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day. Tea, coffee, and light breakfast refreshments will be available in the morning before the first session. We cater to all dietaries so please ensure you let us know your requirements when registering for a ticket.

Yes! There will be a vegan option available during lunch. If you have any allergies or other requirements (e.g. gluten-free, Halal, Kosher) just let us know by emailing [email protected]. During the conference, if you have requested a special meal other than vegan, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to help you.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and we’ll provide real-time audio captioning for all talks. Please do let us know about any access requirements that you have, if you haven’t already, by emailing [email protected]. It’s no trouble at all, we just need some advance notice to make sure we offer you the best experience.

Just show your ticket containing your QR code either printed or on your smartphone to our registration staff and they’ll provide you with your conference pass.

Absolutely, you can find details on the back of your conference badge.

Yes! We’re recording all the talks and we’ll send you the links to the videos soon after the conference, once they’ve been edited. You can also find presentation slides in the conference attendee video hub, if they have been made available by the speaker. 

Our photographer will be capturing moments throughout the conference. If you don't want to be included in published photographs, please pick up a yellow lanyard at registration.

Office hours sessions will run during the breaks and happy hour to give you an opportunity to meet the speakers and get answers to your questions. Check the schedule for timings and other break activities.

Yes, there will be a happy hour held in the conference venue. Timings to be confirmed - check the schedule for more details. 


At the conferences, you'll notice there’s a barcode on your delegate badge. Our sponsors may request your permission to scan your badge so they can get in touch with you after the conference to discuss their products and services. 

If you agree, the sponsor will receive the following information (if provided when registering your conference ticket): your name, email address, job role, company, company sector, company size and country. By allowing our sponsor to scan your badge, you are permitting them to request this information from us. Please note, that we will not give your details to a sponsor unless you approve the request. You can unsubscribe from any communications you receive.

Nursing room

We have a dedicated private, lockable room at the event venue for anyone requiring a place to express or feed during the event. Please just ask a member of staff in a pink t-shirt for directions. 

Is there a space to pray at the venue? 

We have a prayer room on site for anyone who wishes to pray or meditate during the conference. Please ask a member of staff in a pink t-shirt for more information and location. 

We have a designated quiet space in the event venue, away from the main hall for those who may feel uncomfortable in noisy, crowded situations. 

Quiet work is allowed here however, we respectfully ask that you take any calls, meetings or conversations outside of this room.
