Absolutely, we take our Code of Conduct very seriously. You can read in full here. All conference participants are expected to be respectful towards other attendees, speakers, organizers, and staff, in-person and online.
You can find reporting and enforcement processes at the link above. For reporting concerns at the event itself, the LeadDev team can be identified by pink t-shirts with ‘Organiser’ printed on the back.
We’ve moved to a new venue this year: the conference will take place at The Intercontinental London, by the O2 and along the River Thames.

Registration will open around 8.00 am on day 1 and 8.30 am on day 2, and the first session will likely start between 9.00 am and 9.30 am. We will confirm the exact timings closer to the conference.
Don’t worry if you are running late. Our staff will stay at the registration desk for most of the morning. We’ll let you slip into the auditorium quietly once we’ve given you your name badge.
Yes! A lunch is provided, plus tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day. Tea, coffee, and light breakfast refreshments will be available in the morning before the first session.
Yes! There will be a vegan option available during lunch. If you have any allergies or other requirements (e.g. gluten-free, Halal, Kosher) just let us know by emailing hello@leaddev.com. During the conference, if you have requested a special meal other than vegan, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to help you.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and we’ll be providing real-time audio captioning for all talks. Please do let us know about any access requirements that you have, if you haven’t already, by emailing hello@leaddev.com. It’s no trouble at all, we just need some advance notice to make sure we offer you the best experience.
Just show your ticket containing your QR code either printed or on your smartphone to our registration staff and they’ll provide you with your conference pass.
Absolutely, you can find details on your conference badge.
Yes! We’re recording all the talks and we’ll send you the links to the videos soon after the conference, once they’ve been edited. You can also find presentation slides in the conference attendee video hub if they have been made available by the speaker.
Our photographer will be capturing moments throughout the conference. If you don’t want to be included in published photographs, please pick up a yellow lanyard at registration.

Yes, there will be a happy hour held in the conference venue. Timings to be confirmed. Check out the agenda for more details.
At the conference, you’ll notice there’s a barcode on your delegate badge. Our sponsors may request your permission to scan your badge so they can get in touch with you after the conference to discuss their products and services.
If you agree, the sponsor will receive the following information (if provided when registering your conference ticket): your name, email address, job role, company, company sector, company size and country. By allowing our sponsor to scan your badge, you are giving them permission to request this information from us. Please note, we will not give your details to a sponsor unless you approve the request. You can unsubscribe from any communications you receive.
There are lots of extra sessions running throughout the two days. Check the schedule for timings and other hallway track activities.
Nursing room
We have a dedicated private, lockable room at the event venue for anyone requiring a place to express or feed during the event. Please just ask a member of staff in a pink T-shirt for directions.
Is there a space to pray at the venue?
We have a prayer room on site for anyone who wishes to pray or meditate during the conference. Please ask a member of staff in a pink t-shirt for more information and location.
We have a designated quiet space in the event venue, away from the main hall for those who may feel uncomfortable in noisy, crowded situations.
Quiet work is allowed here however, we respectfully ask that you take any calls, meetings or conversations outside of this room
You must have one of the following roles: Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering, CTO (or equivalent).
Every ticket purchased will be checked manually and we will use the job title that you provide along with desk research using resources such as your company website and social media to determine whether or not you meet these criteria.
Yes! We’ll check your profile and job title and get back to you if we have any questions.
Don’t get offended if we decide that you do not meet the criteria – there is plenty of content available for all levels of leadership at LDX3.
No. Your LDX3 ticket is still valid and under our terms and conditions is non-refundable.
