COVID safety guidelines
Your safety and that of everyone at the event is of paramount importance and we want everyone to feel safe and secure. We are working closely with the venue to ensure that we follow official guidelines and best practices when it comes to COVID safety. We don’t know what exact guidance (venue specific, local or national) will be in place for large events in March 2024. These guidelines are therefore subject to change.
You can find out more about our COVID guidelines here.
Transferring your place
We’ll happily transfer your place to a colleague or friend if you need to. Please let us know as soon as possible and ideally no later than 2 days before the event commences. For transfer requests, please email [email protected].
COVID-related travel restrictions
Should you have a COVID-related travel restriction that impacts your ability to attend the conference, we will happily transfer your place to a LeadDev credit voucher, which can be exchanged for any LeadDev products within 12 months of issue. Please let us know as soon as possible and ideally no later than 7 days before the event commences. For transfer requests, please email [email protected]
LeadingEng eligibility criteria
The LeadingEng conference is a small intimate event for Heads, Directors, VPs, and CTOs. To qualify to attend, we require attendees to meet the eligibility criteria - participants need to be at director level or above, or managing managers. Attendees are asked a series of questions when purchasing a LeadingEng or Manager of Managers Premier Pass conference ticket to ensure they fit the eligibility criteria to attend. Registered delegates who do not meet the criteria will be notified by our team within seven working days and issued a refund.
Refunds
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds. If you are unable to attend for any reason, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague or friend. For transfer requests, please email [email protected].
Photos and footage
We photograph and film all of our in-person events and by registering you give us permission to use any images or footage taken of you on the day.
Social media
We reserve the right to reproduce quotes and feedback posted in public with full credit.
Accessibility
The venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users and we provide live captioning of talks. If you have any requirements you think we should be aware of or any recommendations you think we should consider, please email [email protected].
Program
From time to time a speaker may drop out of our event program as we’ve advertised it and we reserve the right to substitute them for another equally awesome individual. We know you won’t be disappointed!
Privacy
At the conference, your badge will feature a barcode unique to you. Our sponsors may request your permission to scan your badge so they can get in touch with you after the conference. If you agree, the sponsor will receive the following information (if provided when registering your conference ticket): your name, email address, Twitter username, job role, company, company sector, company size, company website, country and state.
By allowing our sponsors to scan your badge, you are giving them permission to request this information from us.
Please note we will not give your details to our sponsors unless you approve the request and allow them to scan your unique barcode.
Code of conduct
Every attendee, sponsor, speaker, and member of staff agrees to comply in full with our Code of Conduct. You can read it in full here.
Postponement
In the event that we postpone the event for any reason and you are unable or unwilling to attend on the rescheduled date, you will receive a credit for 100% of the fee paid. You may use this credit for another of our events to be mutually agreed with us, which must occur within one year from the date of postponement.
