Do you have a Code of Conduct?<\/strong>

Absolutely, we take our Code of Conduct very seriously. You can read in full\u00a0here<\/a>. All event participants are expected to be respectful towards other attendees, speakers, organizers, and staff, in-person and online.\u00a0You can find reporting and enforcement processes at the link above. For reporting concerns at the event itself, the LeadDev team can be identified by pink t-shirts with \u2018Organiser\u2019 printed on the back.<\/p> <\/div>

What time should I arrive?<\/strong>

Registration for LDX3 New York will open around 8.00 am on October 15 and then 8.30 am on October 16.The first session for each event will start between 9.00 am and 9.30 am.<\/p> <\/div>

What happens if I\u2019m running late?<\/strong>

Don’t worry if you are running late. Our staff will stay at the registration desk for most of the morning. We\u2019ll let you slip into the auditorium quietly once we’ve given you your name badge.<\/p> <\/div>

Will food be provided?<\/strong>

Yes! A lunch is provided, plus tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day. We provide tea and coffee before the first session, but no food so please ensure you have breakfast before arriving.<\/p> <\/div>

Will you cater for my special dietary requirements?<\/strong>

Yes! There will be vegan and vegetarian options available during lunch. If you have any allergies or religious requirements (e.g. gluten-free, Halal, Kosher) just let us know at the point of registration or by emailing\u00a0hello@leaddev.com<\/a>. During the event, if you have requested a special meal other than vegan or vegetarian, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to help you.Due to the nature of catering for a high volume of attendees, we\u2019re unable to provide special meals for specific dietary preferences (e.g. high protein, low carb, keto).<\/p> <\/div>

Is the venue accessible?<\/strong>

The venue is wheelchair accessible and we\u2019ll be providing real-time captioning for all talks. Please do let us know about any access requirements that you have, if you haven\u2019t already, by emailing\u00a0hello@leaddev.com<\/a>. It\u2019s no trouble at all, we just need some advance notice to make sure we offer you the best experience.<\/p> <\/div>

Do I need to bring anything?<\/strong>

Just show your ticket containing your QR code either printed or on your smartphone to our registration staff and they\u2019ll provide you with your conference pass.<\/p> <\/div>

Is there a cloakroom at the venue?<\/strong><\/strong>

Yes! A cloakroom will be available on the ground floor of the North Javits Center as you enter the building, so you can store coats, bags, or luggage while you enjoy the event.A few things to note:<\/strong>– The cloakroom will be open during event hours.– Space is limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis.– A small fee may apply depending on the item you\u2019re checking in.We recommend bringing only what you need for the day to help keep things simple and avoid queues.<\/p> <\/div>

Are you recording the event?<\/strong>

Yes! We\u2019re recording all the main stage talks and we\u2019ll send you the links to the videos soon after the event, once they\u2019ve been edited. You can also find presentation slides in the event attendee video hub if they have been made available by the speaker. Please note, sessions such as workshops, demos, or any networking sessions will not be recorded.<\/p> <\/div>

What is the barcode on my badge?<\/strong>

At the event, you’ll notice there\u2019s a barcode on your delegate badge. Our sponsors may request your permission to scan your badge so they can get in touch with you after the event to discuss their products and services.\u00a0If you agree, the sponsor will receive the following information (if provided when registering your event ticket): your name, email address, job role, company, company sector, company size and country. By allowing our sponsor to scan your badge, you are giving them permission to request this information from us. Please note, we will not give your details to a sponsor unless you approve the request. You can unsubscribe from any communications you receive.<\/p> <\/div>

Are there any extra sessions?<\/strong>

Office hours sessions will run during the breaks and happy hour to give you an opportunity to meet the speakers and get answers to your questions. Check the schedule for timings\u00a0and other hallway track activities.<\/p> <\/div>

Are there nursing and prayer facilities provided at the event?<\/strong>

Nursing room<\/strong>We have a dedicated private, lockable room at the event venue for anyone requiring a place to express or feed during the event. Please just ask a member of staff in a pink T-shirt for directions.\u00a0Is there a space to pray at the venue?\u00a0<\/strong>We have a prayer room on site for anyone who wishes to pray or meditate during the event. What are you doing to lessen the impact of LDX3 New York on the environment? <\/strong>

Catering: <\/strong>We try to prioritize plant based options at our events, with at least 50% of the food on offer being vegetarian. We also work with our catering suppliers to use locally sourced ingredients where possible and opt for compostable or reusable dishware. Our suppliers also work to manage portion sizes and we encourage attendees to take only what they need. To find out more about what the venue is doing for sustainability, please visit their website.\u00a0\u00a0<\/a>Signage: <\/strong>We use digital signage and print on recycled or reusable materials. The event app allows attendees to access maps and schedules without the need for printed guidebooks. \u00a0<\/strong>Our signage is sustainably created and will be recycled or repurposed after the event to minimise waste.Travel: <\/strong>We encourage public transport, cycling, shared car travel and economy travel to our staff, speakers, activity hosts and attendees.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p> <\/div>

What are the eligibility criteria for a DirectorPlus Pass and how will you check?<\/strong>

To be eligible for a DirectorPlus Pass, you must hold a senior engineering leadership role – typically Head of Engineering, Director of Engineering, VP of Engineering, CTO, or an equivalent position.Each ticket is reviewed manually. We assess eligibility based on the job title and information provided during registration, supplemented by publicly available details such as your company website and professional social media profiles. Final decisions are at our discretion, and unfortunately, we\u2019re unable to offer an appeals process.Agencies and Consultancies<\/strong>We apply stricter criteria to applications from agencies and consultancies. DirectorPlus spaces are intended to be free from any perception of business development activity. This helps ensure attendees can engage openly with peers without concern about unsolicited pitching. If you\u2019re interested in connecting with this audience in a professional capacity, we offer sponsorship options<\/a> designed for that purpose.<\/p> <\/div>

I’m not sure if I meet the DirectorPlus criteria, should I add it to my ticket?<\/strong>

Yes! We’ll check your profile and job title and get back to you if we have any questions. Don’t get offended if we decide that you do not meet the criteria \u2013 there is plenty of content available for all levels of leadership at LDX3.<\/p> <\/div>

If I am refused a DirectorPlus Pass, can I get a refund?<\/strong>
