Do you have a Code of Conduct?<\/strong>

Absolutely, we take our Code of Conduct very seriously. You can read in full\u00a0here<\/a>. All conference participants are expected to be respectful towards other attendees, speakers, organizers, and staff, in-person and online.\u00a0You can find reporting and enforcement processes at the link above. For reporting concerns at the event itself, the LeadDev team can be identified by pink t-shirts with \u2018Organiser\u2019 printed on the back.<\/p> <\/div>

What time should I arrive?<\/strong>

Registration will open around 8.00 am on November 3 and 8.30 am on November 4, and the first session will start between 9.00 am and 9.30 am.\u00a0We will confirm the exact timings closer to the conference.\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>

What happens if I\u2019m running late?<\/strong>

Don’t worry if you are running late. Our staff will stay at the registration desk for most of the morning. We\u2019ll let you slip into the auditorium quietly once we’ve given you your name badge. All talks are recorded and will be made available after the event for you to catch up on anything you might have missed.<\/p> <\/div>

Will food be provided?<\/strong>

Yes! A lunch is provided, plus tea, coffee and snacks throughout the day. Tea, coffee, and light breakfast refreshments will be available in the morning before the first session. <\/p> <\/div>

Will you cater for my special dietary requirements?<\/strong>

Yes! There will be vegan and vegetarian options available during lunch. If you have any allergies or religious requirements (e.g. gluten-free, Halal, Kosher) just let us know at the point of registration or by emailing hello@leaddev.com<\/a>. During the conference, if you have requested a special meal other than vegan or vegetarian, please speak to a member of staff who will be able to help you.Due to the nature of catering for a high volume of attendees, we\u2019re unable to provide special meals for specific dietary preferences (e.g. high protein, low carb, keto).<\/p> <\/div>

Is the venue accessible?<\/strong>

The venue is wheelchair accessible and we\u2019ll be providing real-time audio captioning for all talks. Please do let us know about any access requirements that you have, if you haven\u2019t already, by emailing\u00a0hello@leaddev.com<\/a>. It\u2019s no trouble at all, we just need some advance notice to make sure we offer you the best experience.<\/p> <\/div>

Do I need to bring anything?<\/strong>

Just show your ticket containing your QR code either printed or on your smartphone to our registration staff and they\u2019ll provide you with your conference pass.<\/p> <\/div>

Does the conference venue have wifi?<\/strong>

Absolutely, you can find details on your conference badge.<\/p> <\/div>

Are you recording the conference?<\/strong>

Yes! We\u2019re recording all the talks and we\u2019ll send you the links to the videos soon after the conference, once they\u2019ve been edited.\u00a0You can also find presentation slides in the conference attendee video hub if they have been made available by the speaker.\u00a0Our photographer will be capturing moments throughout the conference. If you don’t want to be included in published photographs, please pick up a yellow lanyard at registration.<\/p> <\/div>

What time does everything finish?<\/strong>

Are there hotels nearby you would recommend?<\/strong>

Is there a\u00a0happy hour or networking event?<\/strong>

Yes, there will be a happy hour held in the conference venue. Timings to be confirmed. Check out the agenda for more details.<\/p> <\/div>

What is the barcode on my badge?<\/strong>

At the conference, you’ll notice there\u2019s a barcode on your delegate badge. Our sponsors may request your permission to scan your badge so they can get in touch with you after the conference to discuss their products and services.\u00a0If you agree, the sponsor will receive the following information (if provided when registering your conference ticket): your name, email address, job role, company, company sector, company size and country. By allowing our sponsor to scan your badge, you are giving them permission to request this information from us. Please note, we will not give your details to a sponsor unless you approve the request. You can unsubscribe from any communications you receive.<\/p> <\/div>

Are there any extra sessions?<\/strong>

Office hours sessions will run during the breaks and happy hour to give you an opportunity to meet the speakers and get answers to your questions. Check the schedule for timings\u00a0and other hallway track activities.<\/p> <\/div>

Are there nursing facilities provided at the conference?<\/strong>

We have a dedicated private, lockable room at the event venue for anyone requiring a place to express or feed during the event. Please ask a member of staff in a pink T-shirt for directions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p> <\/div>

Is there a space to pray at the venue?\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong>

We have a prayer room on site for anyone who wishes to pray or meditate during the conference. Please ask a member of staff in a pink t-shirt for more information and location.<\/p> <\/div>

I sometimes find events overwhelming, is there a space away from crowds?\u00a0<\/strong>

We have a designated quiet space in the event venue, away from the main hall for those who may feel uncomfortable in noisy, crowded situations.\u00a0Quiet work is allowed here however, we respectfully ask that you take any calls, meetings or conversations outside of this room<\/p> <\/div>

What are you doing to lessen the impact of LeadDev Berlin on the environment?<\/strong><\/strong>

Catering<\/strong>: We try to prioritize plant based options at our events, with at least 50% of the food on offer being vegetarian. We also work with our catering suppliers to use locally sourced ingredients where possible and opt for compostable or reusable dishware. Our suppliers also work to manage portion sizes and we encourage attendees to take only what they need. To find out more about what the venue is doing for sustainability, please visit their website.\u00a0<\/a>Signage<\/strong>: We use digital signage and print on recycled or reusable materials.
